As a Process Improvement/Lessons Learned Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and innovation within the program. You will be responsible for facilitating process improvement initiatives, capturing valuable lessons learned, and ensuring cyber audit readiness across various projects and programs. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, this role drives continuous improvement efforts, you will identify best practices, and foster a culture of learning and growth within the organization, while also ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations.
Position Requirements and Duties
Process Improvement
• Lead process improvement projects by applying lean, SAFe, and other relevant methodologies to streamline workflows and enhance operational effectiveness.
• Conduct process assessments, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement to optimize performance and resource utilization.
• Develop and implement process improvement plans, including defining objectives, milestones, and success metrics.
Lessons Learned Management
• Establish and maintain a comprehensive lessons learned program to capture insights, experiences, and best practices from projects and operations.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to facilitate lessons learned sessions, document findings, and disseminate knowledge effectively.
• Analyze lessons learned data to identify recurring issues, trends, and opportunities for organizational improvement.
Cyber Audit Readiness:
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, policies, and regulations by implementing controls, processes, and procedures to maintain audit readiness.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity specialists to assess and address vulnerabilities, gaps, and risks in processes and systems.
• Support audit preparations, including gathering evidence, conducting assessments, and coordinating responses to audit findings.
Training and Knowledge Sharing
• Develop and deliver training programs on process improvement methodologies, cyber audit readiness, and related topics to empower team members and enhance organizational capabilities.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to promote cross-functional learning and transfer of best practices in process improvement and cybersecurity.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on process improvement, lessons learned, and cyber audit readiness practices, providing guidance and support to project teams as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to promote awareness of process improvement initiatives, lessons learned activities, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Foster strong relationships with project managers, team leads, and other key stakeholders to drive engagement and participation in improvement efforts and cybersecurity initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with leadership to provide updates on process improvement initiatives, lessons learned outcomes, cyber audit readiness status, and recommendations for organizational improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
- US Citizen
- 3-5 years experience in an Information Technology environment
- Possess a high school diploma or GED
- Must be available to work on site
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to perform analysis to develop procedures and techniques for work improvement
- Ability to ensure operational requirements are accomplished
- Experience with the development and implementation of work flows
- Ability to develop and implement procedures and techniques for work improvement
- Ability to develop and implement an organized training program that supports new workflows and procedures
- Experience with testing and reporting CSSP capabilities
- Strong Analytical and Problems solving ability
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of CSSP operations
- Ability to read and understand policy and procedures
