As a Cybersecurity Service Provider CSSP ROC Lead, you will supervise the Incident Response process of the Germany ROC to detect and protect data across a wide spectrum of sources and locations. You will ensure the ROC staff validate suspicious events or reports and determinations that an event constitutes an incident. You will ensure incidents are properly entered into the appropriate reporting system and determine the category of the incident.  Additionally, you will supervise the Senior Watch Officers, Watch Officers, and Analysts at your respective ROC. The ROC Lead will also serve as the corporate lead for all Adapt Forward corporate processes and in-person supervisory actions as needed. 

Position Requirements and Duties 
  • The ROC lead is responsible for ensuring that all DCO-W personnel meet CSSP training requirements. This includes ensuring all ROC personnel are trained on the appropriate tools and to the appropriate level needed to successfully complete mission requirements.  Additional responsibilities may include developing the curriculum and leading tabletop training exercises with the team.
  • The ROC lead is responsible for quality control of tickets and analysis of all tickets worked by analysts at the Regional Operations Center.
  • The Germany ROC lead is responsible for monitoring and facilitating ECOPS processes in conjunction with ROC staff and corporate back office personnel.
  • The ROC Lead is a supervisory position and may execute other responsibilities and taskers as required by Project or Corporate leadership.

Minimum Qualifications 
  • Must be a US Citizen 
  • Must be a current Adapt Forward employee in good standing 
  • At least two years of experience in the NIWC LANT Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) environment or similar.
  • Familiarity with CJCSM 6510.01B and other applicable policy directives.

Preferred Qualifications 
  • Leadership experience.
  • Proficient in conducting thorough quality assurance reviews of incident response processes and administrative actions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with organizational standards and objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to distill complex, technically detailed reports into clear, concise, and digestible formats tailored for senior leadership, ensuring accessibility and informed decision-making.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the European Contractor Online Processing System (ECOPS) for facilitating and managing the accreditation of contractor employees in the European theater.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to participate in program reviews, product evaluations, and onsite certification evaluations.
  • Ability to compile and maintain internal standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to validate suspicious events or reports and determine if they constitute an incident.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders regarding significant incidents.
  • Familiarity with network intrusion detection and monitoring, correlation analysis, and incident response.
  • Strong technical skills, including the ability to perform network and host-based digital forensics on Microsoft Windows-based systems and other operating systems.
  • Familiarity with full packet capture PCAP analysis and accompanying tools (Wireshark, etc.).
  • Ability to explore patterns in network and system activity via log correlation using Splunk and supplemental tools.
  • Familiarity with IDS/IPS solutions, including signature development and implementation.
  • Ability to work extended hours beyond the normal shift or duty day in support of incident response actions (Surge).
