As an Atlassian System Administrator, you will manage installation and backend configuration, monitor diagnostics, troubleshoot system performance, and partner with other application administrators to keep Atlassian products ecosystem secure, up-to-date and performing optimally for all teams.

Position Requirements and Duties
•    Collaborate with diverse teams and skillsets to engineer creative solutions that improve daily development operations.
•    Establish and advocate for best practices using Atlassian development tools with support from the Knowledge Manager.
•    Conduct installations, upgrades, and maintenance of Atlassian tools.
•    Manage Identity and Access Management functions, including setting up users, roles, and privileges.
•    Deliver end-user training to ensure effective utilization of Atlassian tools.
•    Implement and enforce appropriate security controls to safeguard environments.
•    Perform regular system monitoring tasks on assigned Atlassian applications to include reviewing Atlassian system and audit logs, creating new Atlassian documentation, addressing performance concerns, and assessing/adopting new Atlassian features.
•    Determine ways to optimize and improve Atlassian workflows, and identify where functionality can or cannot meet user requests.
•    Manage and maintain the entire Atlassian suite of applications including plug-ins.
•    Create and implement standard templates, defining common and reusable workflows, fields, permission schemes, etc., that can be used across the organization allowing for customization when the unique business case is required.

Qualifications
•    US Citizen
•    2+ years of experience managing and configuring Atlassian products (Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Service Management) on-premises.
•    Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology).

Preferred Qualifications
•    Experience with knowledge management systems.
•    Experience with process improvement methodologies.
•    Familiarity with Scaled Agile Framework and Kanban development frameworks and project management methodologies.
•    Proficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex technical issues.
•    Demonstrated experience in supporting technical users and conducting requirements analysis.
•    Ability to work independently with minimal guidance and oversight.
•    Experience with IT Service Management practices and familiarity with Incident and Problem Management processes.
•    Proficiency in managing labels and tagging within relevant systems or platforms.

Required Certifications:
•    DoD 8570 IAT-II
