As a Human Resources Generalist, you will be a critical part of the HR team, responsible for supporting and executing a wide range of HR functions. This role is hands-on and heavily focused on benefits administration, onboarding/offboarding, and daily HR operations. You’ll serve as a key liaison between employees and management, ensuring consistent delivery of HR services while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Position Requirements and Duties 
  • Respond to internal and external HR inquiries with timely, high-quality service.
  • Maintain records of personnel-related data in both paper and database and ensure all employment requirements are met.
  • Ensure that all employee documentation is collected, reviewed for accuracy, completed, filed and recorded in all applicable systems.
  • Liaise with other departments or functions.
  • Coordinate all aspects of onboarding including pre-employment screenings, I-9 verification, system setup, and orientation delivery.
  • Assist in policy updates and employee handbook revisions.
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Assists in HR Projects, like collection of employee feedback, data, etc. 
  • Schedule meetings, assists in employee engagement events, Recruiting events, training sessions, and seminars.
  • Assists supervisors and HR Manager in performance management procedures.
  • Reinforce company policies, rules, and procedures to ensure employees’ safety.
  • Support employees when human resources issues arise with efficient problem-solving.
  • Recommend employee relation practices to foster a positive employee relationship.
  • Conduct and analyze exit interviews.
  • Maintain organizational charts and personnel changes such as but not limited to (Leaves of absences, FMLA, Disability claims, worker’s compensation, benefit enrollment changes, relocation requests, etc.)
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee benefits questions and issues.
  • Process benefit enrollments and changes in HRIS and vendor systems.
  • Process employment terminations in HRIS and ensure offboarding checklist completion.
  • Process personnel changes such as promotions, LOAs, relocations, and benefit updates in all HR systems.
  • Support leave administration (FMLA, disability, workers comp) and ensures compliance with federal/state laws.
  • Process employment verifications and unemployment claims.
  • Track and maintain organizational charts, headcount data, and HR metrics.
  • Maintain knowledge of current employment law legislation.
  • Perform other relevant duties assigned by the needs of the business. 


Minimum Qualification
  • US Citizen 
  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Admin, or a related field preferred. 
  • At least 5 years of experience in human resources as an HR Generalist or other directly relevant role.  

Preferred Qualifications 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Demonstrates exceptional time management, consistent follow-through, and strong interpersonal communication.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 
  • Detail-oriented with commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Savvy in MS office applications.
  • Well-versed in communicating with a broad audience of stakeholders and/or members of leadership.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management.S
  • Well-versed to anticipate problems and embrace a solution-oriented approach.
  • Willingness to escalate matters appropriately to the HR Manager when needed
